Benefits of Being a LPBA Client
Safe Safe Play: Little dogs have more fun playing with dogs their own size. They are less likely to be stepped on running about on the trail. Small dogs playing with other small dogs have similar weight and so can roughhouse without fear of being hurt by a big dog.
As a Little Paws’ Big Adventures client your dog(s) will play, run, sniff, meet his or her doggy
friends and explore together. Our groups form a cohesive pack, bonding and learning from one
another. Your dog will be out of the house for about three hours. We take groups of up to six
small dogs on long, energetic hikes of no less than one hour on various trails in Redwood
Regional Park, Sibley Volcanic Preserve, Cesar Chavez Park, Briones Regional Park, and
Lamorinda Loop. We clean your dog’s coat when he’s gotten muddy. We carry a water/vinegar
mixture to spray off your dogs when they have gone through a patch of poison oak. You can rest
assured that your little one will come home clean and happy.
You will receive a text message each day detailing how your dog’s
romp was often with pictures or short videos of your dog on the trail
with her buddies.
You can view pictures and a report of our hikes on our BLOG.
We practice the positive reinforcement dog-training model through
regular obedience breaks, redirection of undesirable behavior, and
rewarding good behavior.
We require candidates be in good health as we aim to hike energetically.
